Privacy Policy

This website (chai.wedding) is a private, invitation-only wedding website for the wedding of Kai Horan and Chase McKinzie. It is not a commercial service. This policy explains what information we collect from invited guests and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you log in to the RSVP portal and complete your response, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, email address, mobile phone number, RSVP status, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, travel and lodging details, and — where required by Italian law for overnight guests at the venue — your legal name, date of birth, and country of birth.

How we use it

We use this information solely to plan and host our wedding: to confirm your RSVP, to arrange your accommodation and travel, to cater to your dietary and accessibility needs, and to send you updates about the event. If you provide a mobile number and select SMS as a contact method, we use it to text you your RSVP confirmation and occasional event updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help.

We do not share or sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes, and we never share your information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Your data is stored in our database (Supabase) and is handled by the service providers we use strictly to deliver messages on our behalf — Resend for email and Twilio for SMS. Venue-required registration details are shared only with the venue, Castello di Ristonchi, as required by Italian law.

Your choices

You can update or correct your details at any time by logging back in to the guest portal. If you would like us to delete your information, or if you have any questions about this policy, email us at kai.horan04@gmail.com.
